Doggy Daycare and Boarding

Every dog that plans to attend daycare must past a daycare evaluation. 

$25.00 per dog

What to expect:

Evaluations take about 3-4 hours.  Your dog will be dropped off in the morning and picked up a few hours later.  

We introduce your dog to other dogs slowly.  Typically, one dog at a time until they are integrated into group play.  

During the evaluation, the Bark Hamilton staff will determine if your pet is a good fit for daycare and which group they would thrive in.  We assign groups based on size and play style. 

It is important to book the evaluation on a day of the week that you anticipate bringing your dog for daycare.  

We offer both standard accommodations and private suites. 

Bow Wow Bunkhouse

The Bow Wow Bunkhouse is home to our standard accommodations.  The rooms are 4ftx5ft and 4ftx4ft.  Each bunk is equipped with a webcam. 

$45.00 per night 

Bark & Breakfast

The Bark & Breakfast is our Junior Suite.  This private room is 6ftx9ft.  It's equipped with a TV, toddler bed, and webcam. 

$65.00 per night

Fur Seasons and Howlton

The Fur Seasons and Howlton are our Deluxe Suites.  These private rooms are each 7ftx10ft.  They are equipped with tvs, toddler beds, and webcams. 

$70.00 per night

Multiple dog discounts may apply to dogs in same room. 

While loving dogs is a priority, this job is also A LOT of work and requires a significant amount of facility housekeeping, standing, and physical labor. 

• Reliability and integrity of each member of our staff is non-negotiable. 
• Experience handling dogs is a plus but not required. 
• Must pass a background check. 
• $11.00-$12.00/ hour

Pet Care Specialist 

• Overall care for pet guests (This can include daycare and/or overnight boarding) 
• Provide meals, fresh water, and appropriate bedding
• Monitor and understand pet activities, interactions, and behavior
• Provide enrichment activities in dog play group
• Clean and sanitize facilities daily (This can include play areas, kennels, pet dishes, and laundry)
• Provide exceptional customer service 
• Ensure proper documentation for each task
• Other duties as assigned

Kennel Technician 

• Assist in opening or closing procedures
•  Assist Pet Care Specialists, as needed
• Clean and sanitize facility (overnight kennels, play areas, pet dishes, and laundry)
•  Assist in AM or PM feedings
• Assist in preparation for the following day
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements 

• Must LOVE dogs
• High School education or equivalent
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must be able to work morning, afternoon, evening, weekends, and holidays.  This is non-negotiable.

Physical Requirements

•  Ability to walk and/or stand on your feet throughout entire shift
• Ability to move animals and goods
• Ability to push up to 150lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
